We are excited to announce the location of the All Play Together Inclusive Playground. It will be created on .25 acres in the 25 acre recreation site that is located in the Waterside on the Catawba development off Banks Street and the southern by-pass in Fort Mill. This recreation site will also offer ball fields and tennis courts so it will see lots of traffic. Below is an exert from Mayor Guynn Savage's letter.

"The Town Council has voted unanimously to provide .25 acres of land inside the park being developed by the Town off Whites Road and Banks Street in Fort Mill. The Town will install and maintain the new equipment to ensure that all is within regulatory requirements.

Our Council recognizes the benefits that that parks ...and playgrounds provide in the development and well-being of children. Current playgrounds do not provide opportunities for all children to come together and enjoy being outdoors. Families now must travel outside of York County to find inclusive parks.

As mayor, I greatly admire the dedication and sincerity of the All Play Together organization. Success in their efforts will benefit many in our community that cannot enjoy our playgrounds today. I encourage you to consider offering your tax deductible support to this worthy cause and these compassionate people. Together, we can make a difference."
